Upon attempting to remove Adobe AIR, this is the error that comes up in the output window:

Code: Select all
adobeair-2.0.0-10760.i386
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/share/autoten/autoten", line 1072, in rair
    error()
  File "/usr/share/autoten/autoten", line 53, in error
    wx.MessageBox('There was an ERROR operation has failed \nPlease Check the about button first and report any problems @ dnmouse.org','Error','Info')
  File "/usr/lib64/python2.6/site-packages/wx-2.8-gtk2-unicode/wx/_misc.py", line 494, in MessageBox
    return _misc_.MessageBox(*args, **kwargs)
TypeError: in method 'MessageBox', expected argument 3 of type 'int'

Just reporting the error. Thanks!

Worked perfectly on FC12 64

Fantastic stuff you are doing dnmouse. Thank you!

My only wish is that by installing Flash, it did not also install Adobe Reader. Or am I doing something wrong? I find that the default FC pdf readers meet my needs, and would rather not install Adobe readers.

Cheers,

Hi and welcome to the forum :)

Yes flash is a pain, adobereader is not what i have included in autoten, but flash sometimes pulls it in as a dependencie, guess its adobe 's way of forcing it on you :?

Dave

Code: Select all
su
yum remove AdobeReader*

Is there a reason why the english version of adobe reader is not installed instead of what ever language the sve_ version is? Even though this version gives the option to display in that language and english still the en_ version would be better to link i think

ALso there is a 64bit flash plugin now for Linux so you might be able to set it up so it does not need all those 32bit packages when you install flash on 64bit
